Peter Bamkole is a Nigerian education leader, engineer and entreprise builder. He is Deputy Vice Chancellor of Pan-Atlantic University in Lagos and pioneered the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC), which he has developed since 2003 into a leading institutions for entrepreneurship education in Africa. His work lies at the intersection of university education, business practice, and institutional development.
Trained as a mechanical engineer in the United Kingdom, he earned an MBA from IESE Business School in Spain and a PhD in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the International School of Management in Paris.
His professional experience spans several decades across industry, education, and public–private development initiatives, and includes extensive advisory work on entrepreneurship and institutional capacity-building across Sub-Saharan Africa, with a particular focus on leadership formation and the effectiveness of institutions under demanding conditions.
