A Place to Reflect and Connect
For over 60 years, Villa Steiner has served as a space for learning, dialogue, and reflection. Over time, the house has been carefully expanded and adapted — today it offers an inviting, well-equipped campus atmosphere, ideal for seminars, retreats, and immersive residential programs. Whether for a few hours or several days, it’s a place where people come together to think deeply, share generously, and find space to grow.
Space and Light
The house combines timeless elegance with a sense of calm. Its Jugendstil architecture opens into a spacious central hall, filled with natural light. Just steps away from the beautiful Türkenschanzpark, Villa Steiner offers a rare setting for focused thought and genuine encounters.
Rooms & Comfort
The house offersup to 23 single rooms, each with a private bathroom. Spread across different wings of the building, all rooms — except the four attic rooms — are accessible by elevator. The attic rooms are all air-conditioned and offer a particularly quiet and private atmosphere.
Settings for Exchange
In addition to a library and several meeting rooms, the house features a spacious salon that comfortably accommodates up to 25 people. It's a place designed for informal discussions, reflective conversations, or evening talks — a space where ideas flow as easily as hospitality.
Seminar Rooms
The house offers two well-equipped seminar rooms. The larger one accommodates up to 30 participants in a table setup and is air-conditioned. The smaller room is ideal for groups of up to 16. Both are filled with natural light and equipped with excellent lighting.
For Larger Audiences
The lecture hall in the new wing accommodates up to 80 people in theatre-style seating. It features a small stage, a lectern, and a sound system, and has its own entrance while remaining internally connected to the main house. Ideal for talks and small panel discussions.
Dining & Hospitality
The dining room seats 23 guests in its standard setup and can accommodate up to 35. Meals are prepared in the in-house kitchen or in cooperation with a trusted catering partner. We offer full board with three meals a day and a professional break service during seminars.
The Chapel
The house also includes a chapel that adds to Villa Steiner’s distinctive atmosphere. It invites moments of silence and prayer. Upon request and in coordination with the house leadership, groups accompanied by a priest are welcome to celebrate Mass during their stay.
Garden and Terrace
The spacious terrace and garden are among the most beloved features of the house. They invite reading, quiet conversation, or even an open-air seminar — and on special occasions, they provide the perfect setting for a shared dinner under the evening sky.

Group size and exclusive use
For groups of 15 or more, the entire house is available exclusively. Smaller groups are welcome too; in that case, a proportional facility fee applies.
Seminar Support
An additional fee for seminar setup, coffee breaks, and refreshments is charged based on group size and specific needs.
Day use
You’re also welcome to use our spaces for single-day events, workshops, or seminars. We’ll be happy to provide a tailored offer based on your needs.
